The Sickening Abyss

Nerva is kind of home. It is an open copper pit and a paradox of the human relation to the planet and the human bodies. It was a collateral damage at first and at the present an example of how the planet is becoming hostile to humans. Its human-produced alien appearance is furthermore an assistance in order to prepare us for leaving the Earth. [Read on]

In an apparently dead river of the area, were found extremophile bacterias, maybe interestig for martian investigations dealing with survival strategies. But how to deal with the bodies for production, extraction and movement of the final frontiers? How did the paternalistic domestification of the miner’s bodies make them imitate an extreme and invisible form of life? If “home” is already delocated, where do we find it’s memories? Have the cavities of the mine been inverted and turned solid filled with ireal memories? This place had always been martian… its living organisms are species surviving in the abyss of life.
